You were born to Shine.

Don’t you know yet?

It’s your light that lights the world.

~ Rumi

We all have a star inside, the quiet light of who we are. When it’s shining, we are in our truth. We walk with clarity and courage through the world. But that light gets dimmed, distracted, and forgotten amidst messages of what we can be, do, or achieve. Living in that light is a daily practice of letting go, and surrendering to something more sacred: your truth. It’s about self-realization and remembering your innermost being. Through movement, breath and the tools of yoga, we can fortify that light. So you shine again and share your gifts.

Classes. Retreats. Talks.

Sun Yoga exists to support you (and your team) on your journey to shine. Sunny creates a space to open, sweat and reconnect with known truth'‘s. This is an athletic, bhakti style of vinyasa, pulling from all 8 limbs of yoga to support moksha, or liberation. We’ll explore modern poses as well as ancient practices, move as well as meditate, stretch as well as strengthen. Each class is a journey toward peace, passion and wellbeing, from the inside out.

*All levels. Side effects include yoga glow, and a great butt.

“Sunny has changed me on the inside bringing me to a place of more inner peace,  knowledge of my strength, and acceptance of who I am. “

~ AE Eskin, SF

About Sunny

Sunny’s been an athlete her whole life, from childhood gymnast to ultra marathoner. She’s also been a lifelong seeker, driven to understand how humans thrive. She majored in psychology, rowed on a winning crew team, was a sponsored snowboarder, and went on to become one of the world’s first happiness consultants. In 2012 an injury paused it all, and she found something deeper. Yoga, the ancient path to liberation. She went on to gain over 1,000 hours of training with masters such as Deep Kumar and Guru Mukh from India, and Mark Morford and Stephanie Snyder from San Francisco. Today Sunny is a global speaker and consultant in Wellbeing at Work, with a decade of work spanning 20 countries. And, she teaches yoga at the top studios in SF including Love Story and The Castro Room. The goals of these life paths differ, but the message is the same; Remember your truth. And shine.
